solar Nails Spa

Updated.....my daughter went yesterday to get her nails done for homecoming. She went earlier in the week to show a pic of what she wanted and how much it will be. Nails wasn't what she asked. She told me that they were rude and fussing with each other about who was going to do her nails. I dropped her off at 1 pm and picked her up at 4:30. I arrived and told them that the nails were horrible. Acrylic was bumpy. All the could say was that $162 was the price. Didn't want to look at her nails. They were 🗑. Homecoming started at 7 so we needed to go especially since she spent over 3 hours and didn't get the service she came for. The nails 💅 weren't even a 1 star. They were negative 0. I stopped going because Amy left. But it's convenient for my daughter because she can walk there. Horrible experience all the way around. It won't let me add the photos.

I've been to this solon a few times and have had far from great experiences with the service - 1st of all WHY are 3 people taking turns to do 1 persons nails??? Anyway, THIS review is for their website - it simply does NOT work. It wont allow me to schedule an appointment and the email address appears to be incorrect as well. I THOUGHT this issue would have been corrected by now but alas almost a year later...it AIN'T fixed.

I visited this place a few weeks ago after seeing raving reviews online praising their professionalism and quality of work. It was my first time patronizing the business and as soon as I walked in, I noticed one of the male employees staring at me and laughing. I wasn't sure why he was doing this, but I decided to ignore it. After picking out my color and getting seated, everything was going okay (although I did have some concerns about their cleanliness - they don't use protectors for the pedicure bowls and it seemed as if the staff reuse tools that should be replaced...). As I was getting my pedicure done, the male employee kept staring at me and laughing, making sly comments to one of the other employees. It got to the point where I felt uncomfortable and unsafe being there, so I told the manager what was going on. The manager (I believe his name was Tim?) sent the employee out, who proceeded to walk out with a smug attitude while trying to again antagonize me. About 10 minutes later, the employee returned to the salon and even then, he was still being very rude but toned down. Although the service I received was decent, I'm giving the salon 1 star simply for the lack of professionalism I received and saw while I was there in addition to their inability to fully rectify the situation (i.e. send the employee home, provide a discount or extra free service, etc.). I'm sure this place is great for everyone else - however, I will not be returning and will be sharing this information with anyone who inquires about this salon.

I don’t usually give bad reviews for local businesses but -1 star for trimming my cuticles too close to the skin that it hurt and ended up wounding my toes (I had pedicure) and -1 star for the big crack on the side of my toenail gel that ended falling off only after a week. Maybe I’ll have better luck with another person next time :(
